Comments: Ok, maybe Jason just gave it this name...which is why I thought he did it first.

Comments: I could be wrong about the FA. You would know better than me. So the Lewis Bros. did do this line first?

Comments: Originally given 12a, but I thought Everlasting was much harder than this. Would have been a better climb if the crack was utilized more for gear and the bolts weren't out of the way, trying to force an arÍte climb.

Comments: PG-13+...due to a long section with poor gear. Bold climb.

Comments: Never saw anything in the Blue Book. Except for the 5.12- OW crack that Bein TR-ed. Right next to this line but separate. Maybe that's what your thinking of?

Comments: I'm pretty sure it's something of Shaffer and Love's. Though Shaffer couldn't remember if it got finished ever. Did it have anchors?

Comments: Kris, you guys must have been on the Laptad-Prince Route (5.9) I think. Organized Crime is described as being right of Quartz. It does suck those two bolts were placed there. I never clipped them but sure as hell wanted to!

Comments: No, Andy, I would not call the rock quality "great". Not sure this was worth the approach, but it is an aesthetically pleasing line. Gear and climbing was weird. Used lots of small/medium nuts. No need for the bolt or the anchors, but I did clip the pin.

Comments: One 70m rope will barely get you down, use caution. Anchor has only webbing tied to the bolts. Maybe bring some extra webbing or chain to replace.

Comments: According to Piana, 13c was the suggested grade. I strongly disagree. Felt much harder for me. Possibly 14a?

Comments: I hiked out to this a few months ago. No good. Unless you have some glue-in bolts to spare, because it's sandy. Not as tall as it looks from the road either.

Comments: I had also thought it was meant to be a sit down. If not it should be. It adds a few more fun moves but does not change the grade, just solidfies it at V7.

Oh, and I don't know about the R rating... It's not all that tall and as long as you have pads covering the slab chance of injury is slim.

Comments: Start as low as you can on the arete with hands matched on the v-shaped edge. Follow the slopers to a seam then top out over the nose/peak of the boulder.
