Comments: According to Piana, 13c was the suggested grade. I strongly disagree. Felt much harder for me. Possibly 14a?

Comments: I hiked out to this a few months ago. No good. Unless you have some glue-in bolts to spare, because it's sandy. Not as tall as it looks from the road either.

Comments: I had also thought it was meant to be a sit down. If not it should be. It adds a few more fun moves but does not change the grade, just solidfies it at V7.

Oh, and I don't know about the R rating... It's not all that tall and as long as you have pads covering the slab chance of injury is slim.

Comments: Start as low as you can on the arete with hands matched on the v-shaped edge. Follow the slopers to a seam then top out over the nose/peak of the boulder.

Comments: I take back what I said about it being a height dependent crux. Today a person of relatively short stature figured out a way through the roof/crux. So it may be easier for taller folk, maybe. But it's hard to say since with such a unique climb. Nice line Mike!!

Comments: I bouldered this right after Genetic. Very fun and exciting since the crux is the top. Landing is very flat, makes for a great highball.

Comments: The whole situation with Willow is a bit confusing. You certainly can use existing bolts, but as for placing new ones or replacing old ones it is best to consult Jeff Engel (as it states in the guidebook). But what I think Colin may be referring to is quickdraws, it is prohibited to leave your gear hanging overnight. The other cliff opposite the Main Amphitheater is permanently closed to climbing, those bolts have been removed. Willow is somewhat of a local's only crag (not in the private sense ... more >>

Comments: Thanks guys! It was my first trip to the lake that day, loved it! Wish it was closer for me. Joel and I tried to get in as many classic trad lines as possible and this was the highlight of the day! Amazing place!

Comments: Ya haha :P

T-Falls is way over rated. And I don't mean the grades are soft (well maybe that too), I mean the place blows!
