Comments: Rob I think you are refering to some rings to the left of this route. There is a 5.6 to the left that shares the first few bolts with Machete then heads left while Machete goes straight up. Its called Jacobs Ladder.

Comments: Haven't been here, just surfing MP to find a destination for my next trip.
Who owns this rock? If you possess a deed for this cliff go ahead and chop it, if not, what right do you have to chop it. Who named you guys judge and jury. Ethics? Isn't this merely telling someone what climbing should be to them. How dare you tell me what climbing should be to me, or anyone else. Here is an idea, don't clip the bolts.
To chop the routes is vandalism.

Comments: This is a cool route for a sport climber wanting to do multi pitch. While it was fun I can't think of any part of the climb that made anyone in our group say wow.

I do hope to see more long sport routes like this.

It is long and sustained. Don't fall for the sandbagger comments. If you plan on leading every pitch you should be tapping 11's on single pitch sport routes, and your second should be a solid 10 climber. There is no real crux pitch just continuous mid 10 climbing with hanging bel... more >>

Comments: Really fun exposeed arete. Bolts were okay, don't know if there would be a better way to bolt it, have to take what the rock gives us. An 11 leader will have a blast on this, an 8/9 leader will shake a little but the holds are all there, just exposed.

Comments: I have to agree the bolts don't really follow the natural line. Not a real good onsight route, there are lots of holds, many lead to a dead end. Weird but fun

Comments: Good looking wall and route, bolting job not the best, second bolt could be lower, don't know if I'd climb this one again.

Comments: More fun than Miss Prissy. Maybe 9 plus at the top, watch out for the barn door before the anchors, otherwise very straight forward.

Comments: Not real memorable or consistent, routes to the left are better.

Comments: Start requires some balance, the crux is around the second bolt, reach up for a dirty incut seam and the second clip is easier. A girl in my group is 5'3" and couldn't reach it so she clipped from the crimp. I don't remember it being sharp but it was crimpy in sections. Cool route, better than the 9's to the right

Comments: The best route I did at Foster Falls. Very sequential, slightly overhanging but all holds positive. Best bolting job on this wall.

Comments: Finally got on this. Bottom was a little dirty, I'll bring some brushes back the next time. To me the bottom was the crux, very thin. Great line that needs to be climbed more and it will stay clean. Given the local nature of this crag this would make a great project for someone climbing above their limit. We mostly climb in the Red River Gorge and using that as a baseline both of us that got on it rated it 11d. I know Wisconsin grades tend to be more stout but this would be a very difficult... more >>
