Comments: I too question the lack of protection on the finish of this route. Though not as difficult or technical as the opening moves on the climb, the finishing moves to the chains are not trivial and a fall there would IMHO be pretty devastating as you would undoubtedly hit the slab below. One more prior to launching for the clips would be nice...but it is what it is.

Blue alien would have come in handy!! ;)

Comments: Some cool moves and a bit spicy, particularly when setting gear under the expansion flake that creeks and moans as you move by it to gain the Weak Nuts crack (yikes). I would give it 2.5 stars as it is a variation to the start of weak nuts basically.

Comments: Did this with Bob A two days ago and found it to be a challenging and worthwhile route, definitely one to get your head right with little room for second guessing. Solid 5.7 30' to the bolt with the crux moving past the bolt to the second. Cams from #.4,.75-#2 are helpful, doubles in those sizes are nice for the flaring offwidth crack to the finish. I would give this an R rating not only for the 30'er you might take if you don't make the first bolt but the runout from the second bolt... more >>

Comments: Hey thanks Chinos!!

I think it is a pretty good moderate for beginners and experienced alike. A bit more cleaning next time I am out there, but it climbs clean. 12 hours of scrubbing kidney lichen, moss, foam lichen and dirt...what a chore, but I think it will be a well traveled route once the word gets out that lost is a pretty fun destination with new gear!

Comments: Right there with Bob A. A little scrubbing and some doubles in the sizes mentioned above as well as a #3 would really make this route a worthwhile outing. Some fun moves mixed in with a little spice will keep your attention from the moment you leave the ground. Very fun route!

Comments: Since the recent addition of "Rattle Can" on August 6, 2014 Hallie Haley is now the second climb on the Main Cliff. It's a great line on impeccable rock. Tricky moves off the ground lead to wonderful climbing, a must do.

Comments: Great line with great moves!! I think EDGE hit it on the head....just enough spice to keep it interesting and fun. A must do if your in that area. One of my favorite routes there (maybe the best line IMHO)!

Comments: Great route with excellent rock, bolted on lead so be solid at the grade. You have to pull through the crux moves 10-12 feet above your first bolt, blowing the second clip is really not an option (the sphincter was pursed!!). Once you clip the second the next two bolts are run out but on excellent rock with amazing features and continue up on increasingly more easy terrain. A good one for the head, step up, commit and go.
