Always looking for new partners to climb with...all my old ones have either given up climbing for softer pursuits or moved away.
I was a very avid climber in college many years ago...in and around GJ...the Monument, Utah, Unaweep...etc. 50 years old now and just getting back into it as my daughter, Karyn, age 20, is learning.
Back in the "old days", (late 70,s and 80's), before there were many climbers or routes established, we did many routes in the Monument...Independence, Kissing Couple, Sentinel Tower, etc...Also did some in Utah including Castleton and some other routes. Some were new and we never wrote them down....ah the good old days...lol
Did aid and I also have done some winter mountaneering,(Longs Peak, Sneffels,) and ice climbing.
Mostly into Traditional climbing. I would add more routes on my "ticks" page....if I could remember them...lol
Could lead 5.11 then. A3....
Now just looking for some moderate fun climbing..will belay and follow or whatever...
