Comments: Did a squat start. Stand variation felt v2, squat was harder v3. Some nice holds are "hollow/loose/thin" so remember to pull straight down to prevent breaks...

Comments: Was climbing here today with Rusty and some others when a Highway Patrol Car came through. Asked if we were ok then went on his way, so this area is definately "supervised". This spot is real close to private property and just off the road,so be very carefull in what you do.

Comments: If you climb to Highest point of boulder this ones closer to 12ft. Harder moves are just off the ground though.

Comments: Been to this area a few times, LOVE the problems here even with the lichen. Not a big destination, but fun if your in town from Holcomb Valley etc. Dont believe im starting "Route 5" correctly, seems more V2ish.

Comments: This is what the High Desert area needs, more options for rockclimbing of all calibers. The boulders are indeed out there, but only for those with the will to find them.

Comments: The crux is getting above the sloper to the easier slab top out.

Comments: The flake start route is definately a v1 (maybe harder), getting from the low traverse to face climb is a little harsh on the hands if youve been climbing all day. My hands always rip on this one. Maybe its just me lol

Comments: I did this onsight and went up the left close to the 5.12, definately felt more 5.9 than 5.7. Its cool that you can climb two different routes on the same bolt line for sure.

Comments: Sustained climbing with crimps and edging. Passing the 6th bolt to anchors is the crux. Well worth doing if you dont mind the hike up.

Comments: I followed to the left of the bolt line till top out and it definately seemed harder than the 5.8, a good 5.9 face. If you use the features far right it seems more 5.8, but bolts are a little far... Worth doin once.

Comments: Interesting route, worth a go. Some of the key right hand holds can be sharp, but not unreasonable. Fun.

Comments: As long as you stay a respectable distance from the housing, climbing is A-Ok. Pocket rocket also has several differnet routes on the same face. The standard center start, the pinch start to the right, and the around the corner start on the far "under" left. This boulder was chipped during the mid 80's by a local climber, and has many climbers from that time frequent it. Great for laps and endurance training.

Comments: Fun route, but the runoff makes for some slippery spots. Take caution.
