Comments: Natti and I worked on it, and when he got it, he liked V4. Isn't everything on Cape Ann V4? Plenty of local sand around to stuff them bags full! Regardless, great problem that's sunny, high, and usually dry.

Comments: Hey Pete, I heard the Gloucester PD wrote you that ticket because they're upset you're cleaning and establishing all these great problems in the area. They want these boulders to remain hidden and covered in lichen for none to enjoy, forever! Stay out of Cape Ann, old man! Hahahaha!

Comments: I remember using a large nut at the top but no small ones. You do want a tri-cam, black I think, down low, or you will have a run-out. A thread is a hole in the rock which a sling can be passed through and used as pro. The most important thing to remember is the only bolt on the climb, which protects the crux, is crap.
Great climb, but I would not want to test that bolt. Top anchors are new. 60m rope will not get you down. You have to downclimb @10 ft to make it. Fun cliff, just needs som... more >>

Comments: I wish there was place where these blocks could get moved to so they wouldn't be destroyed. An island of misfit boulders for all to enjoy:) Route one was probably a bouldering meca before man and machine wreaked its toll. Pebbles as far as the eye could see. We'll probably get a few more Dunkin Donuts out of it.
Any chance on some last rites, final sesh, Pete?

Comments: I started right under the first bolt. Nice quartz cube for the start. Couple of 5.7 face moves to the first bolt.

Comments: This climb now has a bolt at the start. Looks like it might take some gear. Is it good to go or still waiting for more hardware?

Comments: Thanks and welcome back Jay! Always thought that a bouldering circuit would make this area complete. Ta Da!!!! Dickey and Sandwich are two fun spots for some "quiet" time if your into that sort of thing. Campton campground also never seems to be that hectic during the season for those of us unfortunate to live in the area. Some great swimming holes too.

Comments: These directions start from the tower. I think you walk past The Buttermilker for a ways (45secs), the blocks are somewhere in on your left. Nice problems with a bit of seclusion, possibly contributing to their elusiveness.
