I moved to Tucson in August 2008 for law school. On average I've been getting out 2-3 times a month during the school year. My experience with Tucson climbing thus far has indicated that Mount Lemmon face climbing consistently kicks my ass--whether trad or sport. The grades noted above mean routes that I will get on (if they protect well), but not necessarily send.
I've been climbing for about 15 years and like all types of rock climbing, but my first love is definitely long backcountry routes of any difficulty. My favorite spot so far in Arizona is Mendoza Canyon, but Cochise is gaining fast. |

Nov 1 - W/Cindy-bushwhacked directly to start of arete (& did 3 extra pitches). Got engaged on top!

Oct 24 - OS w/Cindy, led all, windy up high! P2 is awesome. Did original finish which is actually quite fun.
