Comments: There is (used to be) a "10 mile" marker on the right side of the road heaading where you park. It is on the right side of the road a bit down canyon from the the tunnel, a traverse route over the river.

Fallout and the adventure climb are fun sport routes and the cetation and crustation wall are pretty good. West of town try the iron mine and Pocket/sprocket rocks. Give gottta have nuts a try when you are feeling tradish.

Comments: come on. Everyone knows every route at the slips is classic. . . . why do you think everyone climbs there?

Fools progress has some of the funnest edging in BCC in my opinion.

Comments: Thanks for adding this. Cool to see what it was like before the road. I doubt people imagined going up there for a picnic in those days let alone climbing the rocks.

We went up the troll gully to the start which was awesome when we saw parties on sweet jane.

Great day of climbing new pitches. We went bottom to top with a majority of pitches I'd never climbed before. I love that.

If you are rapping the basic line of ascent, make sure you have at least two FULL 60meter ropes. Expect to be stretching it in a few pla... more >>

Comments: pardon the shameless crag promotion. But. . .If you like this choss, you may like the rattle horn in city creek canyon. Close to downtown, longer routes, variable rock quality and no crowds, wildlife . . . choss on!

Comments: That pic makes me think of all the times I stumbled out of the rattle horn in the dark last season. Its pretty wild in that canyon for being called city creek.

Treasures and tales await conquistadores on the summit. . .those who follow should tell a tale and leave a relic.

Comments: Fun climb. We did it in 5 pitches. Ironically, there were three parties on this and no parties on the Black Streak. The rock gets better as you get higher.

One or two parties a year with a small wisk broom would do this thing wonders as the rock is solid but there is just lots of pebbles on and near the holds that no one wants to rain down so they stay.

Props to the FAists.

Comments: Great shot. This captures the essence of Ferguson Canyon so well. All it needs is a few dogs and top ropes in view to catch the reality. Again, nice shot. Reminds me why I keep going back.
