Firstborn
Mar 21, 2024 · Lead / Redpoint. Found best holds, wired sequences, went fast...still felt hard. 10c/d rating: 10a steep start to 10b/c crux. Solid 10b upper-middle. Would be a difficult project for a 10c climber. (weakest senders have sent 5.11 or flashed mid 5.10/sent V4).

Mar 16, 2024 · Lead / Fell/Hung. 3 projecting laps. Very steep & sustained. 10c moves come when you’re already pumped. No real easy section & nowhere to rest well. I went right at the bolt where the 2 routes join together and had to avoid standing on a hollow ledge foothold and a very loose looking block.

The Shield
Feb 24, 2024 · Lead / Redpoint. Steep, short, reachy, juggy. Tough crux over the bulge near the top: LH sidepull in crack just over bulge- lean way right, get feet high and reach big over bulge to RH gaston in crack. Dylan in the Ticks calls it 11b, which I kind of get, but with the right beta, it's a stiff 10d.
