Location: WY : Wind River Range : East Fork Valley : Southwest Face Midsummer's ... (5.7) By: Brian B Ballard When: Aug 27, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: Great route up top. We stayed a bit right at start to get out hearts pumping with a triple lieback straight up on pitch one before trending left. We tried the corner left of the last pitch described here, with no avail. Does anyone know if it tops out nicely? We agreed with described pitch ratings.

Location: UT : Wasatch Range : Lone Peak Cirque : Question Mark Wall : Out of the Question (5.10b) By: Brian B Ballard When: Aug 19, 2011 | view comment >> | Comments: The bolt on the last pitch sits in the middle of and protects the line of patina that goes straight through the roof above the question mark.

Location: UT : Wasatch Range : Willard : Southwest Ridge (5.7) By: Brian B Ballard When: Oct 20, 2010 | view comment >> | Comments: Great beauty route, only roped one pitch, climbed side by side and testing rocks seemed safest for us. The route is missing a pair of underwear, could someone please replace it? Approach from the top was nicer especially if you like scree.

Location: UT : Maple Canyon : Middle Fork : The Matrix : Right Hand Rosie (5.10b/c) By: Brian B Ballard When: Aug 23, 2010 | view comment >> | Comments: Fine route, could do, did do it without the glued holds.
|
Location: WY : Grand Teton National Park : Mount Moran : CMC Route (5.5) By: Brian B Ballard When: Aug 2, 2010 | view comment >> | Comments: This is a great climb. For a little more sustained climbing try the arete variation heading up just past the unesolds needle and then up a steep dihedral to finish. Made this work in 2 long simulclimb pitches and the dihedral at the end was beautiful with monster steep 4" ledges.

Location: UT : Wasatch Range : Big Cottonwood Canyon : The Millstone : Millstone Slab (5.4 R) By: Brian B Ballard When: Jul 30, 2010 | view comment >> | Comments: Not nearly as featureless as stated here. Pro is rare and often sketchy. I recommend free solo on this one. The game trails into broads fork go through beautiful open forest.
