Comments: Climbed this on Friday (1/29/10). The approach was mostly hardpack with a few inches of fresh powder. On the route I found 4-6" of powder over crust and a lot of exposed dirt and rock. A little bit of ice at the constrictions. Fun and a bit spooky in spots.

Comments: There is also a V8 version known as Natural Tattoo that uses the same holds and goes by the same sequence. It is way harder than Freaks of Nature V14 (on the Freaky Boulder, Lower Chaos).

Comments: This really isn't much of a lunge...more like a reach around.
Plus it's more like VB+.

Comments: The crux pinch has blown on this problem (finally) leaving behind a large crimp. The problem goes but at a much lower grade (V5ish). RIP

Comments: This is the perfect boulder problem.
Not a single flaw.

Comments: This is a fantastic problem. Along with Hank's Boulder in the Poudre, this is one of the most aesthetic problems in the Front Range. Perched up on the BBC boulder with a great view of the Flatirons and Boulder. Fun and challenging moves. The crimp-rail is a little tough on the skin, but other than that the rock is great. The grade is irrelevant.

Comments: I've been exploring this area a lot lately. It seems like the potential for good moderate problems is pretty big. Many of the established problems seem to be fairly stout but remain unreported. Most of the "new" development can be accessed by crossing the stream and heading directly uphill into the talus.

Comments: This is really just one move. Fun but not really 4stars.
