Comments: Damn this feels hard for the grade. Really need to work on my OW technique. Too big for footjams, too small for heel-toe. Good armbar/chickenwing practice. No cheat holds on the inside, and it's dirty as hell.

Rock Wrestling is a cruise in comparison, but it's narrower. What other OW is there at MG?

Comments: To be fair, it does look tipped--just not out.

Comments: One of the two hooks/carabiners atop Crack of Dust is pretty worn through--about 50% due to rope grooving. I don't know at what point it should be replaced, but please try not to TR off fixed hardware. Using two quickdraws is nearly as fast and will make the anchor last longer.

In fact, I don't really understand the hooks being there anyway...usually more of a sport climbing thing and seems pretty unique for MG.

Comments: A few pumpy moves off the ground, but great friction and solid jams. Eases up pretty quickly, but stays fun. My favorite crack at the gorge currently, don't believe it took me this long to get on it. Bring a BD3 for the start, this crack takes pro anywhere.

Comments: Why did you have to retire a stick clip?

Comments: Encountered a rattly block (toaster oven sized) near the top of this, on the little ledge before you finish up. Since it's on a pretty popular climb in the gorge it'd probably be gone already if it was truly loose, but figured a chalk X couldn't hurt. I would definitely avoid putting pro in behind it if leading.

Comments: Wow, you must have big hands. I thought I remembered this being BD C4 #4+ in size for the main crack. Definitely slingable chockstones though.

Comments: I've started under the nob, taking a very juggy right leaning crack/flake up to a ledge. Traverse the ledge back left to the knob and finish straight up.

Comments: Watch out for a slightly flexing "pillar"/block on the left side of the crack about halfway up. It's beefy and attached enough to climb on, but I wouldn't put any pro in the crack behind it.

Comments: There is a 2 bolt anchor slightly left of this climb. No rap rings, but pretty easy walk off. Anchors also can be used for Exit Stage Right with a directional (BD #4?).

Comments: Do you know what the route immediately behind this one (on the other face of the slot) is called? It's technically on a different formation, but can't figure out what the formation or climb is called. Seemed to be in the 5.10 range.

Comments: I think this route is also called "Nameless Left of Dimrill Stair" in the PDF guide by Art Messier.
