Comments: Pretty easy to find, look for Bunce School road off the CO Hwy 7, once you drive up a bit you will see Forest Service road signs 105. Should be about 1.4 mi till you reach some parking at Punk Rock just like the guide says. Watch out for broken glass at the base of Punk Rock. It is possible to scramble up the back to set top rope anchors.

Comments: Fun climb, difficult at 5.8+, but it is probably a realistic rating. The spray paint at the base will piss you off, some stupid white hearts (damn, teenage girls).

Comments: Went up to the slab 8-10-12, the approach trail isn't too hard to find, we got some weird looks hiking up the road through della terra. The undergrowth at the base is pretty thick, lots of wild raspberries, watch for the Canadian thistle. It will stick you. Lots of good pro placements. It's hard to make it to the trees at the first belay on a 60 meter rope, we ran out of rope just below at a small tree growing out of a crack. Overall, it is a good climb, not very difficult and well-protected.

Comments: The slings are gone now, I found the chockstone today with nothing on it. Had to downclimb halfway. There is a set of slings along with a piece of climbing rope wrapped around a large rock with 3 rap rings, about halfway down.

Comments: Watch for giant boulders above which appear to be stable for the time being, but they look sketchy and could come down. From the anchors of Index Toe, these boulders can be seen to the left with smaller rocks lodged directly below holding them in place.

Comments: The tree at the base is kinda in the way when it comes time to rappel or to be lowered.

Comments: The bolt above the roof was kinda loose the last time I climbed it, prior to any re-bolting.

Comments: Just picked up a copy of Allen Simons climbing guide to The Narrows, for less than $10 at Jax in Loveland. This is the only guide to the Big Thompson Canyon that I know of and is well worth it. They still have a few left, and it has color pictures, approach, and parking info.

Comments: In the beta photo, "In The Groove" is also known as Baby's Butt Crack. It's hard, not sure of the rating but close to 5.11.

Comments: You can see the undercling hold at the bottom of the photo, which is crucial to pulling the initial moves off the ground.

Comments: This route had top rope chains but no bolts up to the anchors. I used very small TCUs for pro somewhere in the middle. Pretty runout but not too scary. This is a better top rope climb in my opinion.
