Comments: Nice action photo, Tom. It's nice to have a party of three, so you can get those special photos. That looks like a very exciting jump for John.

Comments: Yeah, looks like a good pump, but not exactly deep water. And that's probably in high water conditions.

Comments: We were asked by a USFS ranger, L Hernandez, to spread the word that the bees are quite active at Texas Canyon and that an EpiPen (epinephrine) or Benadryl (Diphenhydramine) would be highly recommended if you're in the area and you know you're sensitive to bee stings. According to Ranger Hernandez there was a major evacuation at Texas Canyon on Saturday, August 23, due to a climber having an allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to a bee sting. She was apparently unaware that she was allergic to bee s... more >>

Comments: Yes...that statement is true, but this view is from the trail just uphill from the boulder as you are going toward the Potato Patch and one need to turn right and go uphill BEFORE reaching this boulder, to get to Area 13. If you're seeing this view, you've missed the turn and are too far uphill, as evidenced by that hillside in the background which should be on your right as you approach Area 13.

Comments: Cool maneuver. Yep....hate to say it, but that is a hair dab. Same thing happened to Nina Williams on a V10 she was working.

Comments: Wow! Must be Batman and Robin to casually hang at that inverted ledge, and be bullet proof, too

Comments: Quite the bad case of camera tilt! Hard 5.11? Looks more like class 4, at most, from that angle.

Comments: Hey Matthew....this fine specimen was one of a trio of captive-bred Rosy Boas that I kept. They are magnificent and docile creatures. This particular female had numerous offspring and ravenously consumed small rodents. The route Lichanura Trivigata was named after her due to the orange colored dike the route follows that resembled her stripes. She's just laying on a black cloth at a school Science Fair.

Comments: Boy Beta Version?? I like the name "Mars Attacks," but that looks like some heinous rope drag. However, extending the clips with long runners doesn't look appealing either.
