Comments: I believe the name of this formation is "Son Tower". Seems like I heard it was named for someone's offspring, not the solar version. Maybe someone who was around back then can tell us for sure?

Comments: Climbing community take note: The idea that Thin Man should have another bolt is not a new one. Every climber visiting Shadow Wall I have ever met since I first moved here in 2000 has had an opinion on this matter. One guy went so far as to say he didn't care about the local ehics because the ones with their panties in a bunch will die pretty soon or be unable to get to the wall to check out the route. Comments: Youre right...sarcasm wasnt the best approach.

I was trying to point out that sometimes the climbing blinds us. For example, everyone is arguing about rebolting and retrobolting...ask a non-climber their opinion and they would say the problem is the bolting itself, not the style in which it was done. Since we have all accepted bolting in general, we have moved onto more nebulous concepts and forgotten about the basics, our impacts on everything and everyone else.
