Comments: Seems to me that people ought to know that Ocelot is part of the Denver Mountain Park deal, therefore climbing is prohibited.

Comments: We always topped out on our first ascents in Indian Creek. We rarely used bolts as well. Half the adventure was finding our way day. And that always seemed to be after the sun went down. It was a special time there. Rarely did you see other climbers and if you did you likely knew them.

Comments: I think the forth accent. Mlada and I tried it twice that Summer and got blown off on the crux pitch by a epic electrical storm. We went back a few weeks later and nailed the thing in three or four hours. I'm not sure which of the two days this was taken on. Let's just assume for fun it was the day we got up it.

Comments: Lamont,
They almost had 100 slides including that one. Once I caught wind of the GPS location stuff, I pulled out and sadly the guidebook will be forever missing the picture of Jules, a Rainer beer, the South Fork, and what it was all about 20 years ago. I'm not bitter at all, just wishing people still had to stumble around a little to find the climbs, let alone the rock the climb is on. But pictures of parking lots! But it's awfully hard not to thank the guys for all the work! So thanks for al... more >>

Comments: They really edited it down. It was really funny actually and got full backing from his family. Dave was a riot. Miss having him around and pulling back beers at the Bucksnort with him.

Comments: This is great, Bryan. Jay and I had a great half day on that thing on a nice sunny day in Dec. of '82. So sunny, rocks were dropping all over the road. Of course, we were in my VW convertible, but no problem, we just drove up and down the canyon with our helmets on. Later that evening at the Morrison Inn, we bumped into Layton Kor who had been bouldering up the hill getting back into shape after not climbing much for a few years. He doesn't remember our first meeting, but I sure do. Anyhow, this... more >>

Comments: Chuck Grossman did the first free ascent of this. Ron's name should be put in its place as a A1 ascent.
