Comments: Oh yeah, and I would like to hear from others who send this on grade, I think it is mostly tricky than hard, but I will stick with v5/6 until I get some more consensus. Think it's pretty style dependent honestly...

Comments: This is a tricky problem, I suggest you work the moves before you watch any beta on it. It was pretty rewarding to figure this one out!

Comments: I saw them a few weeks ago, they are pretty hilarious aren't they lol. Not sure who put them up there, seeing as they aren't very necessary since you can see everything on the bloc... But, we will brush them tomorrow when we go out there...

Comments: I left it at v7-R as per our discussion last weekend how you think you may have a height advantage on the last move compared to most. If you think I should change it to v6, just let me know.

I am also leaving R rating since no one has tested the block strength yet, and the talus underneath of it makes this dicey unless you have a truck of pads, which most people don't have access to.

Nice send Conor!

Comments: I'd be interested to see what comes of the prying. Bloc has been super solid for us, but testing it to make sure is the best thing to do. Thanks for checking it out for everyone Morgan! Looking forward to the update...

Comments: I met a group of guys a few times out here that trad this wall, the right side of it. Think three pitches. They said they've been doing it for 20+ years. The quarry is still active, so walking through the active operation (Bradley Rd) poses some access issues, even though they don't directly own the wall anymore, they do own the property below I believe. The entire left side of the wall has many active Peregrine Falcon Nests as well, so I would be careful setting any lines up here. Already seen ... more >>

Comments: No Ryan, that is a different area, which is active an active quarry btw, so doubtful you can get access to the spire. (A friend of mine and I hiked around from that complex to try to find backway access to check the spire out, but couldn't find any access point, other than the quarry itself. The rock below the spire, behind the complex, is really sandy and crappy btw, so I wouldn't even know if that spire would be any good honestly).

Quarry park, is a tiny little park in fair haven, that actual... more >>

Comments: Yeah, that main wall where fern gully is, just follow the cliff band towards the road (Granite Rd), it's a fairly obvious line in the wall (think those two dead trees are still up against the wall too lol). This was a fun send when I did it. Let me know what you think!

Comments: The crack on this line likes to fill with water and ice, so be mindful, as it flares open towards the top.

Comments: V4 is a potential rating... I would love to hear from others who have done this, so we can get a proper rating for it. Thanks for the feedback!

Comments: We were out there today, It's pretty sharp pink granite because of erosion. Tears your fingertips up worse than anything else in CT. Needs a LOT of attention and love to clean and set here. I can see why people could get turned off by this type of rock.

Comments: Most of the rock I found here was soaking wet. Will have to venture back out after it gets much hotter out. There is one roughly 60' wall I found that has a lot of potential. On the other side of the park is a vertical wall about 30'-40' that also has potential. Didn't find any real boulders per se, but like Mobley said, with a little love, this place could prove a decent local spot. I surely wouldn't travel far to come here considering other climbs available within CT, but for locals, it seems ... more >>

Comments: Checked this spot out yesterday. Great place and has a lot of potential for creating new lines. Rubix cube has a lot of potential for short hard routes as well. Franken is great though. Def check it out. Thanks for the loc beta Chris...

Comments: Really a great climb. We toproped it and the swing from the crux was nothing to fear too badly. The route is solid. Finding it from the top was a pain, think there should be a marking somewhere at top to denote anchor placement for TRing.

Recommend rappeling to the bottom because hiking it is the suck lol.
