Goof on the Roof
Apr 21, 2024 · Lead. I chose the start left of the line in the photo, climbing through the small oak shrub. A nice corner seam at maybe 5.8 but with good gear. I’d bring a single rack up to #3 but extra in the .2 to .4 size. Great short adventure!!!

Apr 20, 2024 · 7 pitches. Lead. Note that the tree belays for pitch 2 ( we linked with pitch one via a single long runner) and for pitch 6 (our pitch 4 after also linking 3/4) are no longer usable, in my opinion. They are both dead, and hollow rotten logs that should be considered some thing to lean on but not hold weight. I was able to find gear above these trees, though not amazing. The small pine tree above pitch 2 is good but also damaged from maybe rockfall or history of people rapping and pulling their rope on it. Not sure if best alternative is to climb past or adding a bolt. I think I found one good .3 cam at shoulder height under a flake next to pitch 6 tree. 4/2024
