Location: GA : Boat Rock : Mantel in the Sky (V3+) By: McGavock When: Nov 19, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: This one is a one move wonder but deserves four stars. Use the sloping slot as an under cling or crimp to gain the left ledge. Match the hand, right foot high up, and... mantle in the sky.

Location: GA : Rocktown By: Austin Cooner When: Nov 17, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: Rocktown is fixed! and 100% open for climbing. There is a small ford where the road used to be, but if you have anything larger than a motorcycle it should be fine to cross

Location: GA : Mount Yonah : Main Face : Latest Edition (5.8) By: saxfiend When: Nov 8, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: I really enjoyed this route, one of the most interesting leads I've done at Yonah so far. The runout to the bolt (maybe 30') was a mental challenge but not real hard climbing. I think you might be able to get a 000 C3 in one of those seams before the bolt, but I didn't have mine with me, so I just ran it out. The bolt is well placed to protect the crux, which was the only real 5.8 moves on the route for me. The rest of the route is cool climbing and pretty well protected.

Location: GA : Currahee Mountain : The Buzzard Wall : Photo By: TomCaldwell When: Nov 5, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: It is in the Dixie Craggers Ala. Ga. Guide. Its a 5.7, I believe its called Buzzard Bait? Its just to the left of A Wing and a Prayer, which is 5.9.

Location: GA : Rocktown : The Orb : Soap on a Rope (V5+) By: skinny legs and all When: Oct 25, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: This problem was listed as a V4 in the guide I was using. A long sequence of great moves on positive, sculpted holds leads to a tricky, slopey mantel.
