Comments: You'll be missing some dental work if you biff the mantle at the top for sure. Great climb, really sustained, only a few good rests.

Comments: People might want to get this one done in a hurry. Buddy and myself have been climbing all the routes in the area the last few days and that problem (done a few months ago) is looking in really bad shape, we didn't pull on it because it looks like the three first moves are about to pull off. The first siting jug you grab then heal hook flexes a LOT, a lot more than it did a few months ago for certain. Could soon be down graded to the V5 stand start only!

Comments: 2 days ago I attempted to hike into Gilman Canyon via the usual approach (noted @ this site) and found it to be off limits. The city of Redcliff is upgrading their sewer system and has signs prohibiting the usual parking and hiking for Gilman. Also parking above, Frontage Road shoulder, is off limits. A person could find their way into the canyon and climb, but it would require a longer approach (maybe from the Kluttergarden parking area). Also hiking in on the right side of the tracks might... more >>

Comments: Wow, I'm glad to see sport/trad climbers are still such immature douche-bags. Front Rangers ? really ? This isn't a turf war you imbecile, it's climbing. No wonder there aren't any hard routes up yet, If it's being hoarded by a bunch of rednecks who can barely struggle up 5.12.
To those concerned about the caving and preserving the beauty of the canyon, how would a few bolts on choice overhangs effect you or the integrity of the canyon. Honestly, it seems like the hatred is going to be its down... more >>

Comments: Is this on the Powerline Boulder? The one with the slackline next to it. Just wondering. I spent a lot of time up there climbing and must of overlooked this one. I also don't climb V11.

Comments: A good warm-up route with the crux starting right away and continuing for the first 3 bolts. After that the climbing easies up except for a couple moves near the top.

Comments: I got on this route yesterday and was not impressed. Yes the climbing is hard and sustained but I thought the rock was dirty and the holds were sharp. Maybe if it got climbed more it would get better but there is no way this is a classic.
