I am at the top, checking for bats, on a hot and humid summer day. Mosquitoes and other insects phlebotimized me all day. Then I broke out from poison ivy. At least the climbing was fun.

The Niche can be very easy, if one uses the terraced steps; or a challenge, if one uses the slab face on the right corner. A very fun, short climb.

There are several routes in this area: the ledges on the west side and a face climb (no ledges) on the east side. My ropes are in the middle by accident. This route is possible, but save the trees please.
