Northern Alaska/Brooks Range
Submitted by: Jared LaVacque
The Brooks range is an east-west mountain range at the northeast part of the top of Alaska. The range covers 700 miles and continues into the Yukon Territory or Canada. The Brooks Range is home to the Dalton Highway, which bisects the Brooks at Atigun Pass, and travels south-north from Fairbaks to Prudhoe Bay on the Beaufort Sea.
