Description
A large and diverse alpine wilderness area in the NW corner of Okanogan County.
Rock is granite, approaches range from just 4 to over 22 miles, and the main season is June to October.
This section mostly relies on Beckey's Cascade Alpine Guide (Vol. 3) for route descriptions and is organized with separate listings for the various different areas with already developed and potential climbing, including;

Cathedral Peak
Apex Mtn.
Bauerman Ridge
Teapot Dome
Windy Peak/Windy Lake
Upper Middle Fork of Toats Coulee
Pick Peak/Sunny Pass
SE Pasaytens (listed separately on MP) - North Face Tiffany Mtn. and Old Baldy
Getting There
Several access points exist - Andrew Creek Trail, Chewuch River Trail, Iron Gate Trailhead.
Please keep in mind that despite guidebooks and maps posted to MP alluding to convenient access from BC, it is illegal to cross into the US from Canada in this area. The US Border Patrol does use various tools to patrol this area the fines are shockingly hefty.
